Planning to have an office party? Use office party game to break the ice and get everyone pump up for the party. Here are some great ideas that you can use to liven up your next office function. These games are especially useful for large organization where not everyone knows each other.

Snowman Game
Explain the rules of this games once all guests arrived. In this game, one person is selected as the Snowman. During the party, this snowman has to completely freeze once the cue is given. Others who notice the Snowman will have to freeze too. The last person to notice what is going on will lose and be the next snowman. This is a hilarious game and it is funny to see what happen to people when they are in the midddle of their food or conversation and have to freeze.

Are You Telling The Truth Game
This is just nice for colleagues who do not know each other very well, or who think they do when they might not. Have the guests stand in a circle around a table. Someone has to be appointed as the score keeper. Taking turns, each one has to tell 1 true statement and 2 lies about themselves. Guests must vote of which of the statements are true and which are not after each player's turn. A point is awarded for every incorrect guess after the true statement is revealed. After one round, the player with the highest point is awarded the prize- for being the best liar in the office.

Gift Swap
Each guest will bring a gift to exchange. In each table, each guest will take turns to draw a number. The one who has the smallest number will get to choose and open one of the gifts. Player number 2 will then have the option of "stealing" that gift or selecting and opening another gift. As the play goes on, players who have the higher numbers will be able to select from any of the opened gifts or a new gift. This games can be great fun if your guests are great sports.

Office Party Tip #1

Depending on the theme of the party, you need to dress suitably. While you do not have to wear a suit and tie, you should not dress down or too casually. Torn jeans and sneakers may not be appropriate. When in doubt, ask.

Office Party Tip #2

Tell jokes that are entertaining but not rude. When in doubt, don't. Often when people think they are entertaining, they are not. Remember that what seems funny to one person can be offensive to someone else.

Office Party Tip #3

Show Appreciation. Nothing is better than a simple thank you to the party organizers. You can truly make their day by showing that you appreciate their efforts and time in organizing the party for your office.
