Choosing the right office party attire for your company's party can be stressful activity especially when your office parties take start right
after work. How then can you make it for the party right after office hours?
The answer lies in simplicity. Here are some ideas to help you understand better.
Accessories
Accessories can be simple like a belt, a scarf or a bag. They can dramatically change your overall looks and the best thing of all they are
often very versatile. All you need is a bit of creativity and you can easily reposition any of your accessories to create a party look in
seconds.
Sweater
Most of us have a sweater in the office to keep ourselves warm. If you are in need to change your looks, why not put it on in the evening.
It is great for any after work fun and you will probably look in it.
Shoes
Men would not have much problems with this. They can easily use the same pair and be ready for the night festivities. For ladies,
however, a pair of flats may be fine in the day but most would probably prefer a pair of stilettos for the evening. If that is the case, why not
leave a pair of your high heeled shoes in the office. You can easily slip them on after work.
Hair
Probably there will not be much time to get your hair ready for the party after work. If so, you may want to consider doing so the morning
of your party. For those with long hair, you may consider styling it down. That way if you don't like it during the day, you can always pull
it back. For those with short hair, style it as you would normally. Keep in hand a headband or scarf which you can put on after the day.
That helps to transform your looks in minutes.
Makeup
For most of us, your makeup during office hours may be a little conservative. That said, you can always reapply your foundation if needed
after work. Add a bit of lip gloss and eyeliner. You may want to use eye shadows to enhance your looks. Of course, if you can, you may
want to take a quick shower first.
Your office party attire, as you have seen, need not be complicated. With some planning and preparation, anyone can transform from a
serious office executive to a fun party animal within minutes after work.
Office Party Tip #1
Depending on the theme of the party, you need to dress suitably. While you do not have to wear a suit and tie, you should not dress
down or too casually. Torn jeans and sneakers may not be appropriate. When in doubt, ask. |
Office Party Tip #2
Tell jokes that are entertaining but not rude. When in doubt, don't. Often when people think they are entertaining, they are not.
Remember that what seems funny to one person can be offensive to someone else. |
Office Party Tip #3
Show Appreciation. Nothing is better than a simple thank you to the party organizers. You can truly make their day by showing that you appreciate their
efforts and time in organizing the party for your office. |
